Foods to Order at Kao Chi, A Chinese Restaurant in Butuan

Right now I’m listening to Duyog by Jewel & Joe Edward Villaflores, the Grand Champion for Artist Ko’s VisPop (Cebuano song) Songwriting Competition last May 18, 2013. It is a great music piece that makes me feel in love and uplifts my mood; just perfect to keep my mojo running.

Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life. -Ludwig van Beethoven (Click to tweet this)

What songs do you listen to that keeps you motivated to work?

That’s me and my ate posing for a picture at Kao Chi before we devoured our meal.

We grabbed the opportunity to capture this moment while the food was still at its prettiest. Who knows? It might say cheese with us! Hahahaha!

Kidding aside, this was my first time to dine in a Chinese restaurant in Butuan.

Chinese restaurants aren’t really my go to places for dining and my lame excuse for that is unfamiliarity with Chinese cuisine.

When deciding where to eat, the first things that would pop-up in my mind are either the places that I’ve been to already or those that serve food that I can identify easily. Hey, familiarity is powerful to the hungry tummy.  I know it happens to you also. Don’t deny it Thrifty Looker. It won’t hurt to agree with me. Hehehehe!

Since it was our first time at Kao Chi, we asked the waitress what their bestsellers were and we didn’t regret taking her suggestions. The food was great!
