Since the month of May kicked in, I’ve been walking streets that were filled with banderitas. These are colorful plastic fiesta flaglets hanged on electrical lines across the street.

Why were there banderitas everywhere? What’s happening in Butuan?

Every whole month of May, Butuanons celebrate the Balangay Festival (also known as Balanghai Festival) which commemorates the arrival of early migrants to the Philippines aboard the Balangay boat. St. Joseph is the city’s patron and the exact date of the feast is May 19.

In relation to this festivity, I am giving away a product made in Butuan City that is making buzz nationwide due to its efficiency, the Carrot Health Soap.

Butuan’s Carrot Health Soap is highly effective in acne control and skin whitening. You wouldn’t want to miss your chance into achieving fairer skin, right?

In this giveaway, 3 pieces of Carrot Health Soap are up for grabs. Submit your entries now.
